To the glory of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. All praise to you, the Most High God, for giving us life. Every breath is from you. Alleluia.
There is power in the Name of Jesus and the world is about to see again the power of his Name.
This is me. Inviting you into my world for a bit of prophetic insight. We know in part and prophesy in part. (see 1 Corinthians 13:9) So, I pray this encourages you in your journey and will confirm something the Lord has spoken to you or you have read on someone else’s posts. I tried to write this word almost a month ago, but the time was not right yet. Now is the time.
It was 2/7/22 when I was laying down for nap. As I lay there awake, Holy Spirit began to speak. I saw pictures, I heard phrases, I heard a noise that sounded like static or interference.
Then I saw the numbers 3:09. The vision zoomed in toward them as if to give them emphasis.
Then I was slightly caught off guard and a bit startled by the booming voice I heard in my spirit that said, as if it were in all caps, “LET THE MOCKERS BE SILENCED!” It was authoritative. As if you could picture someone saying this while putting their foot down with firm conviction and the power to do something about it. It carried weight.
Then I heard a familiar voice saying the words “a spirit of faith.” Emphasis on faith. It was as if she was speaking right then. Soon after nap, I texted that friend. She said that’s exactly what she had been praying for. Out loud. My spirit had heard her prayer.
Eyebrows raised. Totally awake now. What was that all about, Lord?
I reached for my phone to write it all down. (We must steward what he gives us. Otherwise, it’s like hearing someone but forgetting what they said the next second. We show God we value his voice when we take the time to jot it down. It’s a treasure. And a piece to a puzzle. Everyone has a piece.)
After I was done inputting the notes, I found this scripture from 2 Peter 3:09 (AMP) –
“The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
3:09. Wow. Might want to reread that.
See. God is NOT being slow. He is not being absent. He is not being an illegitimate Father. HE’S BEING PATIENT. EXTRAORDINARILY patient. Can you see his heart?
Tell me. Honestly. If he were to come today, are you ready?
Not ready to escape. We all know there is war going on in the world right now. But ready to embrace? Are you ready for your wedding day? You, if you are in Christ, are the Bride of Christ, you know? Have you prepared? Or are there some things that you need to take a look back in the mirror at?
And here’s where the hammer comes down.
“Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, ‘What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.’” 2 Peter 3:3-4 (NLT)
Listen. God can defend himself. He is fully capable of that. But when I hear in the spirit, the voice booming saying, “LET THE MOCKERS BE SILENCED!” it is one thing to think yourself, but another when the Spirit of God is saying it himself.
“They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed.” 2 Peter 3:5-7 (NLT)
Deliberately forget it says. It has to be deliberate. Want to know why? Because the word says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP) “He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]…”
Our loving Creator made us to know him. So, to forget him, would be deliberate in this sense because he has made us to KNOW we have a divine purpose.
Mockers. Scoffers. Have you found yourself in these shoes? Saying these words, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again?”
And that is where the prayer for the spirit of faith to be released comes into play. Faith is not just belief. Faith is belief put into action. It is putting your whole trust in something or someone. We, as a society, try to shove education and intellectualism down our throats as if that will fill the hole of purpose. When really, we need to be asking the Lord to release the spirit of faith into our hearts to help a carnal, busy, lost, distracted, hurting, lonely society to begin to believe again. To believe again that God is holy. That he wants to have a real relationship with us. That we can fully trust him.
Hear me real good. This is not about going to church!! This is not about knowing the bible!! You can know the bible, but not know the God of the BIBLE. HE IS KNOWABLE. Oh, if I could just shake you with compassion I would. I cannot type fast enough to get the words out without typos.
I can feel the love of the Father for you.
His heart is saying, “Repent. Come home. I’ve made a place for you. And it’s a good place. You’ve been a wanderer and you’ve been so lost and all along you’ve had the compass right in your heart. I’ve placed eternity in you. You know the way home. It’s through Jesus. Now, to come. Lay it all down, wanderer. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. Repent. The debt’s already been paid. My Son’s blood. It covers your sin. Yes, yours. Do you believe me? I love you. The time is short. Don’t be a mocker. They lose in the end. Be a repentant one. There’s freedom in repentance. And your true home in me. That’s where you belong. Come home.”
That’s where we belong. Click here to watch video and begin your walk with Jesus today.
The Lord will not relent and he will not be mocked. Jesus IS coming back. And we are grateful for his heart that does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.
By the Spirit of the Lord I say, the mockers will be silenced and the glory of God will come just as Habakkuk 2:14 says. Let us hold fast to the truth.
Thank you for your revelation, Holy Spirit. We honor you, Lord, and ask that you use us to bring in your kingdom harvest. We don’t want to be lazy workers. Just sitting around waiting for you to return. We want to be active members of the army of God who know how to take a command from our Commander. Thank you, Jesus. We, through the power of your blood and the empowering Holy Spirit, will do as you did. Destroy the works of the devil. Nevertheless, it is not I who live, but Christ who lives in me. To the glory of your Name, Jesus. To the glory of your Name. Amen, amen, amen.
