Artificial Intelligence vs. Jesus Intelligence (Disclosure: I am not a tech gal. Just a gal with a word from the Lord. Hear his heart. Oh, how he loves you and me.)
JI. It’s what I saw in the spirit. “Jesus Intelligence.” He had my attention.
With recent agreements to sign at work on what is an appropriate use of AI and which platform is not, recent classes for a design platform and their multitude of integrated AI features, and a recent social media post formed with AI video capability, I am exposed to all that AI wants to be.
And that’s just it. It wants to be something it is not. And it’s own name tattles. Artificial intelligence. Artificial.
Let’s define artificial. Here’s a few:
: made, produced, or done by humans especially to seem like something natural : man-made
: caused or produced by human actions or methods especially for economic, social, or political aims
: not being, showing, or resembling sincere or spontaneous behavior : fake

Jesus Intelligence. Creator Intelligence. King of kings, Lord of lords Intelligence. If he lives in you, that’s what you have access to. So, instead of using the AI features each time, let’s connect with our Creator and create together. Ask him before you design something, “Jesus, what do you see? What colors are you thinking?” Tap into his intelligence. Because the Word says, “For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.” Romans 11:36 (NIV) WE have the mind of Christ.
I’ve noticed in all these AI talks, that the main thing is speed. Get a project done faster. But in doing so, we miss the process. We miss the skills that come with trial and error. We hand over our God-given thinking pattern to get from one step to another and hand it to a machine that, actually, is fully dependent on a human to enter in their desires until they get the proper outcome from artificial (Man-made) intelligence.
And might I suggest that the Jesus way by far bypasses the speed of AI. While communing with the Holy Spirit, he will download ideas, words, pictures, ideas faster than you yourself can imagine. And suddenly, you’re on the straight path instead of the crooked one.
Hear his heart. I do use AI but the invitation here if to Co-create with our Creator. Jesus Intelligence.
And this topic does not only have to do with design. It’s our daily life. The Lord longs to give us his wisdom. In fact, there is a beautiful promise in James 1:5 that says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (NKJV)
Ask him for pictures, answers, guidance. Ask him for his intelligence. He is brilliant beyond comparison and suddenly the prayer from Psalm 27:11 is answered. You will be on a smooth path because he has taught you his ways. “Teach me Your way, O Lord, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.” (NKJV)
Today, instead of fake, man-made intelligence, tap into the real source of creativity. Jesus Intelligence. Seek the Lord and he will be found by you. Happy Creating!!!
So, Lord, we thank you for inviting us in. We thank you for your love and your compassion for your creation. We believe that you are working in our day, and you long to give us your intelligence. So, Jesus we place our hearts before you and ask that you impart your wisdom, your understanding, your compassion, your truth to us in this time of need. In this day and age. Fill us with your Word. Your Word is truth. We bless the Lord and we call you holy! Thank you for your mighty and awesome work through us in Jesus mighty name Amen.
