PINK COMBAT BOOTS

Picture pink. Now put that color on combat boots. That’s the image the Lord showed me in prayer the other day. Pink combat boots. Apparently, it’s a thing. I googled it. And I might just have to get a pair.

Remember, the Lord always shows us things on purpose. And this blog is for both men and women. I don’t care who reads it, but in this post – ladies, may I have your attention, please?

This was a unique vision from the Lord. At first, I just took it as it was. Like, okay God. As believers we are in combat. Your Word says this is war. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)

We are in combat. In the spiritual realm. So many times, it can look like we are in conflict in the natural realm, but once we ask the Lord for insight, he will show us what’s really going on.

As I sat on this vision for a bit, the Lord prodded me and made sure I had noticed what color they were. Ah! They were PINK combat boots, like I already said, but somehow I had overlooked the significance of the color.

I asked the Lord, “Why are they pink?” He said, “Because you are a woman and will war as a woman.” Ah. I am a woman. And we know men and women are so different. The light was coming on. I felt that the Lord was saying, in the coming days, the women of God will have a unique role to play in the end time harvest, but we will war as women. We will strategize differently from men. We will get to go places and influence certain hearts that a man cannot touch. We have been created a woman on purpose and for great honor as we war alongside the Lord to find the lost sheep and bring his sons and daughters home.

So, hallelujah. It’s good to be a woman. He honors women and always has.

So, woman of God. What has he specifically called you to do? Where do you fit into his kingdom strategies to dismantle the powers of darkness? Are you an intercessor? Are you a worshipper? Do have a desire to evangelize? Do you dance? Ask him what the next step is for you and receive your combat boots. Pink ones.

Thank you, Papa, for encouraging us as women. That we have a strategic role to play in your army. And you have graciously identified us as women but placed equal combat boots on us. We thank you that greater is HE that is in us, than he that is in the world. More love, more power, more of you in our lives. That is our prayer. Make us fit for your army. And give us heavenly insight as we come near you, to GO-FIGHT-WIN! In Jesus’ mighty Name, amen.
