Give glory to the Holy Ghost. He is alive, well and so beautiful. Thank you, Jesus for sending your Spirit to us. And we know that he is the down payment on our lives because you are returning, for us, your Bride. We love you, Lord.
A few days ago, as I was soaking in the presence of the Lord, Holy Spirit showed me the number 186. I thought, “186. Huh. Wonder what that is?”
So, as I sat up I reached for my phone to exit the music and immediately went to BlueLetterBible.org with the purpose to see the word for the Strong’s Concordance number 186.
God speaks for a reason. Sometimes you must wait a little longer than other times to receive revelation. This day was different.
I must say, since the Lord showed me that, I would be a fool not to chase after him. It would be like a disrespectful teenager, when a parent is trying to impart wisdom but there are text notifications going off and suddenly the moment has passed. We don’t want to treat our Lord as if we are immature and ungrateful. And forgive me when I have, Lord!
I typed in the number 186 into the search bar. Ah. It’s a Greek word.
ἀκλινής aklinḗs, ak-lee-nace’
It’s definition: without wavering, not inclining, firm, unmoved. Please, see for yourself here. I love that website.
It is only found in one verse in the Bible. The New Testament. Hebrews 10:23.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV)
I think it’s interesting the focus of the verse for me, by revelation of the Holy Spirit, was put on the phrase “without wavering.”
Perhaps the Lord is saying, in the days ahead –
“Yes, you’ve made your confession in me. Hold fast to that. Don’t let go. But even in the holding, even in the confession you have made, there is potential of wavering. To be moved. And I say to you, be UNmoved. Do not waver. You have placed your faith in me and now is not the time to think about letting go. To wonder if the cost was worth it. Listen, Beloved, I AM coming back. Now is the time to take heed to my words. I AM coming soon. Do not waver. I love you too much. I’ve paid too high a price for you to waver now. I am proud of you. I know it’s been hard. And I know it will be hard. But is not by Word true? Does it not say, ‘Greater is He who is in you, than he that is in the world?’ ‘In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.”
Alleluia. Our God be praised!!
Thank you, Jesus. By your grace, you will help us remain unmoved. Firm. Without wavering. And why will we stand?? Because he who promised is FAITHFUL!! YOU ALWAYS DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU WILL DO!!
Give glory to God! He is worthy!!
I’d encourage you to read the full chapter 10 of Hebrews afresh. It’s good stuff.
Let me pray for you –
Heavenly Father, open up the spiritual eyes and ears of this reader now to a greater degree. Increase their faith to let them believe like a child that they are truly hearing from you. And give them more and more God encounters, to where they are walking with you everyday, Holy Spirit. Establish them in the faith so that they are not tossed to and fro by the waves of this life. They shall remain UNmoved. We honor you, Lord. To the glory of your Name, Jesus, let it be so. Amen, amen and amen.
